<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a display device and a driving method therefor, permitting to shorten a selected period length per one pixel while compensating variations in threshold voltage of a driving transistor. <P>SOLUTION: In a pixel circuit Aij, by applying potential Vcc to potential wiring Ui; potential Low to gate wiring Gi; potential High to control wiring Ri; and control wiring Pi to potential High, gate terminal potential of a driving TFT:Q is made to potential of data wiring Dj. Then, the gate wiring Gi is made High to compensate for threshold voltage of the driving TFT Q1. After that, the control wiring Pi is made Low and the potential wiring Ui is made to potential Vc to make the voltage of a capacitor C1, namely, the gate-source voltage of the driving TFT vary, and thereby the control wiring Ri is made to Low for making a driving current flow through an organic EL;EL. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
