PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a card type pachinko game apparatus in which a control circuit on a pachinko game machine side surely recognizes a ball lending request generated in a ball lending unit as a ball lending device and controls a ball discharge mechanism and the accurate discharge of lending balls is surely performed. SOLUTION: The discharge request signals of the minimum discharge unit are transmitted to a discharge controller so as to discharge the set lending ball number of game balls on the basis of one operation of a conversion switch, and it is confirmed that the discharge controller is in a ball lendable state by ball lendable signals every time the discharge request signals are transmitted. Also, when the discharge of the game balls is not started within first time after the transmission of the discharge request signals or when the reception of ball lending discharge end signals is not detected within second time after the discharge of the game balls is started, abnormality occurrence is judged.
