ANTENNA UNIT AND RECEPTION DEVICE USING THE SAME

There is provided a reception device having a simple structure and capable of being used for various specifications. The reception device includes: an antenna unit having a reception antenna for receiving a radio signal containing video data transmitted from an encapsulated endoscope introduced into an examinee; and a reception device main body detachably attached to the antenna unit. The antenna unit functions so as to demodulate the radio signal received via the reception antenna to a base band signal and the reception device main body acquires the video data at least according to the base band signal.
