<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biodegradable foamed container having light weight, high strength on handling and less reduction of strength during its use, quickly degrading on burying in the soil as it is, without inhibiting the growth of roots of seedlings and also easily decomposable on composting or microorganism-treating at the time of its disposal. <P>SOLUTION: This biodegradable container consisting of the biodegradable resin, preferably a resin composition containing an aliphatic polyester, a polyphenol and/or plant fibers is characterized by having 0.2-0.85 g/cm<SP>3</SP>density of the container. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
