PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ringback tone control unit capable of furthermore extending a range of services usable by a caller. SOLUTION: The ringback tone control unit includes: a ringback tone management table database 115 for storing positional information set by each user in advance and ringback tone data information as a set; and a ringback tone database 117 for storing ringback tone data (including music or message denoting a present position) transmitted to a caller terminal. When the caller terminal transmits a connection request to a called terminal, the ringback tone management apparatus 113 uses a ringback tone management table stored in the database 115 on the basis of the present positional information and the user information of the called terminal to output ringback tone data corresponding to the present position of the called terminal among ringback tone data stored in the database 117.
