<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and method for setting an inexpensive test environment in which a communication test of mobile communication terminal can be carried out. <P>SOLUTION: A service area 3 is formed by arranging two or more cluster areas 30 comprising two or more cells 300. A test zone specification part 14 of a test environment setting device 1 specifies a test zone including a cluster area in the range of a moving device for test 2 and an adjacent cluster area. A channel selection part 15 is included in a test zone, specifies a cell group comprising cells in which an identical frequency group is allocated, and selects one channel per one cell group. A stopping wave request part 16 requests stopping wave of frequency band based on this channel to base stations 4 of the cells 300 included in the cell group, respectively. A communication test can be carried out under a commercial environment without any bad influence on a commercial service by using the frequency band in which a wave is stopped in this way. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
