Direct stability detection system for mobile crane has force measurement cells installed in support arms

The stability detection system is for mobile cranes (1) and similar machines which have outrigger support arms (6). Force measurement cells are installed in the support arms and measure the force on them. On the basis of the cell measurements, a state is set which reduces the risk of overturning or collapse of the crane, and produces a warning or takes correction measures.
