<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitting device causing extremely small color irregularity and capable of realizing full color. <P>SOLUTION: This light emitting device capable of emitting white-based light includes: a light source 100 having a laser diode 101 for emitting blue light and a laser diode 102 for emitting red light; a light guide plate 200 for transmitting light from the light source 100; a cylindrical lens 300 arranged between the light source 100 and the light guide plate 200 for diffusing the light from the light source; and a YAG phosphor 400 applied to a light extraction surface of the light guide plate 200. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
