PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simply constituted lens frame driving apparatus where a manual operation and a motor-driven operation for moving a moving lens backward and forward can be performed. SOLUTION: Regarding a mirror frame apparatus 1 incorporating the lens frame driving apparatus, the apparatus 1 is provided with an ultrasonic actuator 30 attached to a fixed frame 2 through a mounting plate 11, and a moving frame 4 with which the oscillator 35 of the ultrasonic actuator 30 comes in press contact is fitted into the outer circumferential part of the fixed frame 2 so that the frame 4 can move backward and forward. Further, a follower frame 6 is fitted to the outer circumferential part of the moving frame 4, and an outer frame 5 is fitted to the outer circumferential part of the follower frame 6 so that the frame 6 and the frame 5 can move backward and forward. A roller 7 is assembled with the follower frame 6 in a state where the moving frame 4 and the outer frame 5 come in press contact with each other, and when the moving frame 4 is electrically driven by the actuator 30, the follower frame 6 is driven backward and forward through the roller 7 in accordance with the backward and forward movement of the frame 4, on the other hand, when the outer frame 5 is driven backward and forward with the manual operation, the follower frame 6 is driven backward and forward through the roller 7 in accordance with the backward and forward movement of the outer frame 5.
