<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display apparatus wherein alignment control in a reflection display area can be sufficiently performed without spoiling brightness of reflection display. <P>SOLUTION: In the liquid crystal display apparatus 100, a pixel electrode 31 is divided into a plurality of island like parts 31a and 31b and the island like parts are electrically connected to each other by island like connection parts 31c. The dimension of the connection part 31c in the longitudinal direction extended in the direction in which the island like parts 31a and 31b are arranged is regulated to be 8 to 20 μm and the dimension in the lateral direction orthogonal to the arrangement direction of the island like parts 31a and 31b is regulated to be 5 to 20 μm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
