PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage network system, a management server, a host and a storage device that have means for quickly realizing safe volume copying excluding incorrect data such as viruses and falsified data and easily realizing data restoration from a safe volume. SOLUTION: The storage network system comprises the storage device 400 having a volume 409 for recording data and a network connection means 404, and the host 100 having means for reading/writing data from/to the volume 409 via a network 300. The host 100 comprises a security monitoring program 111 for security-monitoring data 700 communicated via a network 200 to create a check result log including the security monitoring result, a check result acquisition means for acquiring, when necessary, the check result log created by the security monitoring program, and a copy instruction issuance means for issuing a copy instruction if the check result log about the volume contains no anomalies when the data in the volume 409 are copied to another volume.
