PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cold/heat retaining device superior in practical use for not only retaining cold/heat but also heating/cooling drink which is at an improper temperature, to be restored into an optimum temperature. SOLUTION: The cold/heat retaining device stores a liquid storage container 10 for retaining the cold/heat of liquid in the liquid storage container 10. It comprises a storage body 3 having a peripheral wall functioning heat insulation and a bottom portion 2 and a heating, cooling or heating/cooling part 4 provided on the bottom portion of the storage body 3 for heating, cooling or heating/cooling the bottom portion 2.
