PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an infinite circulation type linear guide unit manufacturable by a simple method. SOLUTION: This linear guide unit is composed of a guide carriage 1 sliding on a guide rail 2 and a roller chain 8 composed of a flexible belt 17 for connecting a spacer 16 between rollers 3 and 3 supporting it. An infinite roller channel 7 is provided with a lateral rim 14 for guiding the roller 3. Each lateral rim 14 is provided with a channel part 15 for putting either of the belts 17. The channel part 15 is provided with a channel bottom part 20, an inner side channel wall part 19 for an inner side belt face of the belt 17, and an outer side channel wall part 18 for an outer side belt face of the belt 17 positioned by facing the inner side channel wall part 19. The outer side channel wall part 18 and the inner side channel wall part 19 in the channel part 15 in a direction conversion section 13 are formed into separate parts. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
