PURPOSE:To suppress the generation of moire in a band by sharing the reading of the signal charges of photodiodes corresponding to odd and even number orders of lines at separate vertical shift registers in photodiode arrays, and multiplexing them in columns when the output signals are transferred to horizontal shift registers. CONSTITUTION:Photoelectric converter groups 12, 13 are disposed in a matrix state, first and second vertical shift registers 10, 11 are disposed corresponding to the rows of the groups 12, 13, the register 10 is electrically connected to odd number group 12, and the register 11 is electrically connected to the even number group 13. An output circuit 15 electrically connected to one ends of the registers 10, 11 is disposed, and the signal charges are read out alternately at every other columns by the registers 10, 11. Thus, the generation of a moire in the band is suppressed, and an image of high quality having no interline flicker is obtained. |
