METHOD FOR DETECTING COMPRESSION OF VERTEBRAL ARTERIES IN CHILDREN WITH CEREBRAL PARALYSIS

The method for detecting compression of the vertebral arteries in the children with the cerebral paralysis comprises ultrasonography of the blood vessels on the neck with the straight position of the head and with the head turned to the right or to the left. The presence of the compression is suggested by the alterations of the shape and the diameter of the arteries, the changes of systolic, mean, diastolic blood flow rate, pulse and resistance index relative to the corresponding normal values.
