<p>The procedure for making a composite assembly from a sandwich (4) of an adhesive film (3) between two panels (1, 2) e.g. of glass consists of covering the edges of the sandwich with supple strips (5, 6, 9, 10) of an air-impermeable material and joining the projecting portions (11) of the strips together with an adhesive to make a channel (12) through which air can be extracted from between the assembled panels through a porous ring (13) via a valve and a pneumatic machine. The strips are deployed from two reels positioned on either side of the sandwich and stuck to the edges of the panels.</p> |
