An artificial sweetener composition contains sucralose and optionally a bulking agent such as maltodextrin. The composition is in the form of granules having a size between 30 and 2000 Om and containing between 0.5 and 1.5 wt% moisture. Any process can be used for making the compositions, with one especially applicable one involving pressing a powdered feed containing the raw materials between rolls to form a densified mass. The densified mass is then broken down in size and optionally fractionated by particle size.
