FIELD: well prospecting seismology, possible use for studying structure and physical properties of geological cross-section in well-adjacent space, for finding oil and gas formations. ^ SUBSTANCE: method includes launching a probe with sensors to give depth, exciting seismic oscillations close to surface and recording seismic oscillations in well.
