FIELD: ophthalmology. ^ SUBSTANCE: microsurgical cannula can be used for surgical treatment of patients suffering from open-angle glaucoma. Microsurgical cannula has housing, working part made in form of curbed tube. At least one hole is made at side of the tube. Tube has radius of curvature, which corresponds to radius of curvature of Schlemm's canal. Outer diameter of tube equals to 0,2-0,4 mm. Total area of holes is equal to 0,1-1,0 sq. mm. Side of the tube onto which the holes are made, is made rough. Height of roughness equals to 1-10 micrometer. Irrigation and aspiration can be performed inside open of Schlemm's canal inside area of trabecule, which can be simultaneously scarified. ^ EFFECT: improved efficiency. ^ 1 dwg |
