FIELD: polymeric materials technology, polymers. ^ SUBSTANCE: composition for preparing sealing covers comprises as polyamide binding matrix the mechanical mixture of preliminary cryogenically ground polyamide and thermoplastic or powder of cryogenically ground to particles size 50-100 mcm their thermomechanically combined mixture prepared at 230-250°C in the ratio = (1:0.01)-(1:0.11)-(96.5-99.8) wt.-%. As a disperse filling agent the composition comprises powder of natural silicates ground to particles size 50-100 mcm, not above, and taken in the amount 0.1-3.0 wt.-%, and functional components in the amount 0.1-0.5 wt.-%. Composition for sealing covers possesses the optimal combination of strength, adhesion, protective and deformation indices. Invention can be used in machine engineering in making covers for members of sealing systems and transport devices. ^ EFFECT: improved and valuable properties of composition. ^ 3 tbl |
