PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing member capable of obtaining comparatively high anchor effect by widening the area of a contact between an adhesive and a surface resin and capable of securing adhesion performance (durability) equal to that exhibited when the occupancy of the covered area is 100%. SOLUTION: In the fixing member in which a surface layer having a releasing effect is bonded, via an adhesive, onto a base layer formed from a metal, the adhesive is dispersed in particles on the base layer and the occupancy of the covered area to the base layer is in the range of 50 to 100%. In addition, the shape of part covered with each of the dispersed particles of the adhesive is 0<r<1 mm in which r denotes the average diameter of a contact face, and 0<h<10μm in which h denotes the average of its height (average particle height). Further, the composition of the adhesive contains a fluorinated carbon resin, a nitride, or a nitrogen aromatic compound. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
