PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small and lightweight liquid cooler with short cooling time in regard to a liquid cooler provided with a tank storing liquid such as water. SOLUTION: By providing the tank 2 storing water, a discharge opening 3 connected to the tank 2, a heat transport means 7 for cooling connected to a Stirling refrigerating machine 8 and provided on the tank 2, a temperature sensor 9 provided in the tank 2, and a temperature control circuit 19 controlling the Stirling refrigerating machine 8 on the basis of a detected temperature of the temperature sensor 9, and cooling the water of the tank 2 by the Stirling refrigerating machine 8, cooling capacity can be enlarged, accuracy of temperature control can be enhanced, and miniaturization and lightening of the cooler can be carried out.
