MANUFACTURING METHOD OF METAL GASKET

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a metal gasket having excellent durability which is equipped with an annular bead hardly fatigued even if being crushed. SOLUTION: A base plate is formed by layinng a rubber coating layer on a surface of a metal plate through the medium of a substrate and an adhesive. When manufacturing a metal gasket equipped with the base plate having at least a fluid passage hole and an annular bead surrounding the fluid passage hole, the press work of the annular bead is performed to the metal plate after the substrate is applied to the metal plate of the base plate and dried at a temperature lower than the low-temperature age-hardening temperature of the metal plate by employing the metal plate having excellent low-temperature age-hardening property as a metal plate of the base plate. After that, the age-hardening of the metal plate is executed while burning the substrate at the low-temperature age hardening temperature of the metal plate of the base plate.
