PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a balancer shaft driving device capable of reducing eccentric motion caused by centrifugal force of a balancer weight of a balancer shaft, reducing noise caused by meshing of gears, and improving tooth contact. SOLUTION: This balancer shaft driving device is provided with the balancer shaft 15 to which a bearing 6 is journaled adjacently to a crankshaft 3 of a crankcase 2 and having the balancer weight 15b and rotated, a balancer gear 16 mounted on an end of the balancer shaft and having a diameter center position Og on a position offset to an opposite direction from an arrangement position of the balancer weight from a hole center Oh of the bearing, and a driving gear 11 meshed with the balancer gear and transmitting the rotation of the crankshaft to the balancer shaft; and a distance between the axis of the balancer gear 16 and the axis of the driving gear 11 is kept nearly constant, and the balancer shaft is rotated.
