<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for reading a two-dimensional code of a tire, capable of reading two-dimensional code information of a two-dimensional code indicator provided on a side surface of each tire with an irregular position or direction by an expensive reading means by use of a reader capable of being miniaturized and simplified, and a device therefor. <P>SOLUTION: The two-dimensional code reader for tire 100 measures a light quantity reflected by the side surface of the tire 1 by a tire detection sensor 11 to detect the tire 1, and detects the two-dimensional code indicator 2 in reaction with a laser beam reflected by the two-dimensional code indictor 2 by an indicator detection sensor 12. A moving and inclining mechanism 31 supports a reading sensor 32 to be movable and inclinable at a predetermined angle in a predetermined direction, and the reading sensor 32 reads two-dimensional code information of the two-dimensional code indicator 2. A control part 20 is connected to the tire detection sensor 11, the indication detection sensor 12, the moving and inclining mechanism 31 and the reading sensor 32, and determines the operation of a reading part 30 based on the detection result of a detection part 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
