<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To give a feeling of a supine posture without giving an unstable feeling of a lying posture in warm water in a bathtub for domestic or personal use. <P>SOLUTION: A backrest face 21 inclined at 130° to a horizontal plane (a horizontal bottom part 12) is formed at a part of an inner peripheral wall surface 20 of the bathtub 100. The unstable feeling of the lying posture in warm water is thereby suppressed while giving the feeling of the supine posture (a lying feeling) to a bathing person 200.
