PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an "on-vehicle navigation system" capable of more surely guiding a vehicle along a guide route even when there are junctions different from a junction for the vehicle to have to make the next route change between the junction and the vehicle when the vehicle approaches the junction. SOLUTION: A control unit 17 determines whether or not there are any other crossings between the vehicle and the next guide crossing (crossing for the vehicle to make the route change) when the vehicle comes to a site at a predetermined distance from the guide crossing, and displays in a display device 7 a crossing guide map in which an arrow representing the guide route is displayed in red when the control unit determines that there are other crossings. When the control unit determines that there are no other crossings between the guide crossing and the vehicle, the unit displays the route changing the color of the arrow to orange.
