PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a socket of an electronic part which is easily operated, has a simple structure and can be manufactured at low cost. SOLUTION: The socket of an electronic part comprises a stage 2 having a support plane 5 on which an electronic part 1 is placed, a contact 10 for elastically contacting with the electronic part 1 placed on the support plane 5 for electrical connection, an external pressure action portion 4 for elastically deforming the contact 10 by action of external pressure to separate it from the electronic part 1, and a pressing member 3 rotatably supported by the stage 2 so that it moves between a release position for releasing the electronic part 1 placed on the support plane 5 by the action of external pressure to be taken out and a pressing position for pressing the electronic part 1 placed on the support plane 5 by eliminating the external pressure.
