PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a very low temperature tank reduced in weight, having excellent strength properties, preventing cracking from occurring even under extremely low temperature environment, and having high airtightness. SOLUTION: This very low temperature tank 1 comprises a pressure layer having an inner shell 10 and an outer shell 20 and an airtight resin layer 30 formed by fusing a thermoplastic airtight resin film to cover the inside of the pressure layer. The inner shell 10 is formed of a fiber-reinforced resin composite material capable of withstanding heating at a temperature equal to or higher than the melting point of the airtight resin layer 30.
