PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular controlling device capable of effectively suppressing run-off of one's own vehicle to an opposite lane at rear collision, when the rear collision is predicted in a vehicle preparing for entering the opposite lane. SOLUTION: When a collision predicting portion 58 predicts that a following vehicle may collide with the one's own vehicle 10 through a rear sensor 60, and confirms that the vehicle 10 prepares for entering the opposite lane so as to turn to the right through a preparation detecting portion 56, an ECU 42 controls a steering device 22 to automatically change orientations of front wheels 12a, 12b to a non-opposite lane side. The ECU 42 controls actuators 20a to 20d through a master cylinder 18 to control braking force of the front wheels 12a, 12b and rear wheels 14a, 14b. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
