PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pseudo eyebrow-forming cosmetic which can impart pseudo eyebrow shapes in the eyebrow portions of a face and has excellent retainability. SOLUTION: This pseudo eyebrow-forming cosmetic for dyeing coated skin portions contains a compound, such as a dihydroxyacetone, which reacts with amino acids of the skins or with amino groups of keratin to dye the skins. The pseudo eyebrow-forming cosmetic can, if necessary, be combined with one or more pigment components and a liquid or solid oily component and then processed into a pencil-like, powder solid-like or liquid-like eyebrow.
