PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for complementing hair functional insufficiency occurring by repeating permanent wave processing, hair dyeing and decolorizing, and further physically protecting. SOLUTION: This hair cosmetic is provided by incorporating (1) a hydrolyzed collagen and (2) hyaluronic acid and/or its salts. The collagen becoming a base source of the hydrolyzed collagen is preferably derived from fishes, and the cosmetic is preferably for cleansing.
