PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing apparatus capable of precisely and easily correcting transfer error caused by the wear of a platen roller. SOLUTION: This printer judges presence of the transfer error between a second sensor moving at the same speed as the sheet transfer speed input from an input section, while detecting the detection mark of a series of labels, and the series of labels transferred, and performed transfer quantity correction process if the transfer error is present.
