PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a floor washing device and a washing method capable of cleaning or washing every corner of a cleaning object area with fixtures laid thereon. SOLUTION: This electric floor washing device washes the floor face by pushing a doughnut-shaped pad 3 against the floor face while feeding wash water on the floor face, rotating the pad 3 and scrubbing the floor face; and is provided with a cover 4 covering the pad 3.
