TRANSMISSION TIME MEASURING METHOD, TRANSMISSION CONTROL METHOD, AND MOBILE COMMUNICATION SYSTEM PROVIDED WITH TRANSMISSION TIME MEASURING FUNCTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide various methods by which a time (a round trip time) required for data transmission between a retransmission controller and a mobile station can be measured.

SOLUTION: The mobile communication system corresponding to the HSDPA is provided with the mobile station; a radio base station; the retransmission controller which transmits a data unit to the mobile station via the radio base station; and a control unit utilizing a transmission time for a radio section between the mobile station and the radio base station, which can be obtained by receiving an ACK signal transmitted from the mobile station and related to H-ARQ control, when calculating the round trip time regarding the transmission between the mobile station and the retransmission controller. Such a mobile communication system is used.
