PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily take out discharging sheets by improving visibility of sheets discharged in a device body. SOLUTION: The image forming device is equipped with a manuscript reading section 300 that is provided above a discharge tray 108 of the sheets discharged by means of discharge in the device body to san the manuscript, a manuscript feeding section 200 (ADF) that is provided above the discharge section 108 to feed the manuscript automatically to the manuscript reading section 300. Sizes of the manuscript reading section 300 and manuscript feeding section 200 are made into that corresponding to a first manuscript size (e.g., an A4 size) that is a general-purpose manuscript size, while the manuscript feeding section 200 is made up so that the sheets with a second manuscript size (e.g., an A3 size) that is larger than the first manuscript size and besides corresponds to a discharge tray 108 size can pass through the manuscript feeding section.
