PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a superconducting cable line excellent in energy consumption efficiency by reducing the heat entering the cable from outside. SOLUTION: The superconducting cable line comprises a fluid heat shielding pipe 2 in which a fluid 1 having less than normal temperature is transported, and a superconducting cable 10 stored in the fluid heat shielding pipe 2. The superconducting cable 10 comprises a cable core 12 in a cable heat shielding pipe 11. Since it is stored in the fluid heat shielding pipe 2, the temperature difference between outside and inside the heat shielding pipe 11 is smaller than that when installed in the air. The superconducting cable 10 has a double heat shielding structure, with both the cable heat shielding pipe 11 and the fluid heat shielding pipe 2.
