Mitt has upper and lower exterior members joined by an accordion pleat to provide upper and lower pockets one for the fingers, (collectively) and the other for the thumb. The arrangement of the pockets places the fingers (collectively) and the thumb in opposed position. The shaping of the members facilitates placing the fingers at 25.degree. - 55.degree. to the wrist for holding.
