PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a two-cycle engine carburetor using a simple link mechanism with less number of parts for opening a throttle valve instead of an air valve when closing a choke valve. SOLUTION: A groove hole 8 is formed in one of an air valve lever 72 and a throttle valve lever 52 and a link 9 is mounted between the throttle valve lever 52 or the air valve lever 72 and the groove hole 8. The groove hole 8 consists of a first groove hole 81 having a lock portion for allowing the rotation of the throttle valve 5 in a range of a prescribed opening with no rotation of the air valve lever 72 and for allowing the rotation of the air valve 7 when the throttle valve 5 is opened over the range of the prescribed opening and a second groove hole 82 ranging from the first groove hole 81 for escaping therefrom with the link 9 removed from the lock portion during choke. A choke valve lever 42 has an engaging portion for engaging with the lock end on the loose end side of the link 9 located in the first groove hole 81 to return the lock end 92 to the second groove hole 82 when the choke valve 4 is closed, whereby the air valve 7 is rotated and restored to the original position.
