PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet processing device capable of eliminating waste of the sheet by effectively preventing hooking of all punched sheet regardless of a size of the hole. SOLUTION: The sheet processing device A is provided with a first conveying route 240a and a second conveying route 250 for conveying the sheet; a third conveying route 240b positioned at a downstream side of a portion where the first conveying route 240a and the second conveying route 250 are merged; and a stapler tray 402 positioned at a downstream side of the third conveying route 240b, temporarily stacking the sheet and applying post-processing such as staple treatment. The punched sheets are led to the second conveying route 250 and non-punched sheets led into the device following the punched sheets are led to the first conveying route 240a. Control for leading the punched sheets and the non-punched sheets to the third conveying route 240b in the state that they are superposed is performed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
