PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a center bearing support mechanism capable of certainly preventing foreign matter from intruding through a gap formed between a pair of inner rings. SOLUTION: The center bearing support mechanism is composed of the inner rings 16 and 18 where a bearing 14 is installed inside in the radial direction and which are arranged in the bearing axial direction with a first gap T reserved, a pair of outer rings 20 and 22 located outside in the radial direction of the inner rings 16 and 18 and arranged in the bearing axial direction with a second gap Q reserved, a pair of resilient members 24 and 26 arranged between the inner rings and the outer rings so as to connect them together, and a sealing means 40 to choke the first gap T.
