MIRROR EQUIPPED WITH DISPLAY MARK, AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a display mark of visibility on the glass rear surface of a silvered mirror. SOLUTION: A resin protection film of the mirror obtained by coating the rear surface of a glass plate with a lamination film consisting of a metal reflection film and the resin reflection film in this order is irradiated with laser beams in a prescribed shape to batch remove the lamination film by heating and evaporation, and thereafter resin is embedded to the exposed rear surface of the glass plate to make the mirror equipped with the display mark on the rear surface of the glass plate. The wavelength of the laser is selected so that a part of the energy of the laser beam with which the resin protection film is irradiated may be absorbed by the metal reflection film and most of them may pass thorugh the glass board. Scanning is carried out so that pulse lasers of 0.7 to 1.2μm wavelength may be superposed by 50% by area. It is preferable that a color pigment contained in the resin protection film does not contain a pigment of an iron component. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
