PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for transducing a gene, optimized for a plant belonging to the Genus Tamarix. SOLUTION: The method for transducing the gene into the plant belonging to the Genus Tamarix comprises a step for immersing a tissue section forming multiple shoot or callus into an infectious liquid containing a microorganism belonging to the Genus Agrobacterium, into which a vector having the objective gene is transduced.
