<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connecting joint for a pipe capable of surely preventing a problem that foreign matter invades into a position of a seal member and is caught by the seal member in insertion of a hose even when the foreign matter such as chips from chamfering remain on an inner peripheral surface or an outer peripheral surface of the pipe. <P>SOLUTION: In the connecting joint 10 for the pipe 18 equipped with the annular seal member 22, a metal edge 44 is annularly provided on an outer peripheral surface of an inner cylinder 20 as a fitting surface with respect to the pipe 18 and on a portion of a tip side of an insertion side of the pipe 18 of the seal member 22, a step is further formed on the tip side successively of an edge 44, and an annular recession 46 is provided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
