<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery assembly having excellent loading property by suppressing dimension in the direction of height. <P>SOLUTION: The battery assemblies 100A, 100B are loaded below a luggage room or a rear seat. The battery assemblies 100A, 100B are stored in a case body composed of a battery cover having a substantially parallelogram shape when viewed from a side of a vehicle and a lower case by tilting a battery pack 130 having a substantially rectangular shape obliquely. Resin-made chambers 102, 104 are provided in a space in the forward and backward directions of the battery assemblies 100A, 100B. A passage for cooling air is formed in a space in the vertical direction of the battery assemblies 100A, 100B.
