PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a presence detection sensor that can detect a detection target even while it does not move. SOLUTION: The presence detection sensor comprises a detection part 3 that comprises a reflective infrared sensor comprising a light emission part 31 for radiating infrared light to a detection area and a light reception part 32 for receiving infrared light reflected by a detection target, and that changes an output depending on whether or not there is a detection target in the detection area regardless of the motion of the detection target. The detection target's entry to and exit from the detection area can be thus detected accurately. A transmission part 4 for transmitting a wireless signal when the detection part 3 detects the detection target is disposed to dispense with a signal line and facilitate installation.
