PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To resolve a problem wherein conventional cable-like pressure sensors have weak tensile strength of a lead member connecting with a control circuit and are inferior in productivity. SOLUTION: By constituting the sensor with: a flexible pressure-sensitive body 9 set in turn around a core electrode 8; a flexible outer electrode 10 consisting of coating formed by applying conductive paint; a lead member 11 electrically and mechanically connected with the flexible outer electrode 10; and an electrically insulative elastic body 12, and by arranging the lead member 11 along the longitudinal direction of the flexible outer electrode 10, the mechanical strength of the lead member 11 can be made strong, a process for attaching the lead member 11 afterward is eliminated and productivity can be improved. Also, the coated flexible outer electrode 10 can prevent the lowering of flexibility, and the lowering of voltage induced between the core electrode 8 and the flexible outer electrode 10 can be suppressed because coating process which hardens the sensor is not necessary, and so a pressure sensor with high sensitivity can be realized.
