PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radioactive iodine sampler capable of preventing decline of collection efficiency by maintaining little moisture absorption by an iodine scavenger even if retained in the waiting state for a long period as emergency use, and a radioactive iodine monitor equipped therewith. SOLUTION: In this radioactive iodine sampler, environmental air is sampled, and iodine or its compound in the sampled air is collected by the iodine scavenger, in order to detect a radiation discharged from the radioactive iodine included in the environmental air. The radioactive iodine sampler is equipped with an airtight storage means for storing the iodine scavenger in the airtight state during a waiting time, and a dehumidification means for dehumidifying steam from the air in a space storing the iodine scavenger.
