PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging bag for use in storing contents such as liquid, sticky substance, solid, powder and granule or the like of foods or medicines, without the possibility of hurting hands or fingers with the outer end edge of a circumferential edge thermally bonded portion during its handling or the like, and further provide a packaging bag capable of being manufactured by using a conventional hot plate without using any special shaped hot plate and further capable of being manufactured without decreasing an operating rate at a bag manufacturing process. SOLUTION: This packaging bag is comprised of a laminated member having at least an outer layer and an inner layer made of a thermal bonding resin that are sealingly closed at their circumferential thermally bonded portion, wherein the interlayer of the laminated member are spaced apart at the outer end edges of the circumferential thermal bonded portion.
