<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exfoliated graphite sheet whose thermal conductivity in the surface direction is higher than that in the thickness direction, and which has uniform thermal conductivity and can be efficiently manufactured at a low cost. <P>SOLUTION: The exfoliated graphite sheet is formed of only exfoliated graphite. The thermal conductivity in the surface direction of the sheet is controlled to be ≥350 W/(m×K). The difference between the thermal conductivities in the surface direction and the thickness direction is very large and the exfoliated graphite sheet is suitable for diffusion movement of heat because the sheet is formed of only the exfoliating graphite and the thermal conductivity in the surface direction is ≥350 W/(m×K). Further, the sheet can be easily manufactured in a short period of time, resulting in enhancement of the productivity of the sheet, so that the sheet can be manufactured at a low cost. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
